Monterey Event Overview

Since 2008 XDL has been part of the Red Bull Indianapolis GP. Starting in 2011 we are going to make it a double-header by also holding an XDL event during the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca. And we are doing it in style. If you’re a Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca regular you’re familiar with the ride through town on the way to Cannery Row, which takes you past Fisherman’s Wharf along Del Monte. The XDL venue is right in front of the Wharf before you enter the tunnel. You can’t miss it. If you’ve never been to Monterey and you’re coming just for XDL, rest assured that you won’t find a better spot in a more picturesque location. This is one event where you can bring your better half and she will love you for it.

The XDL action kicks off at night, after Moto GP finishes, so you’ll have time to check out both and even grab a bite and get showered in between. Tickets are on sale now and don’t wait too long because it is likely this event will sell out.

This is also a great opportunity to get a display space and to market your company to the younger, urban street motorcycle crowd.

Directions:

From California Highway 1 (PCH) North of Monterey – Take exit 401A (Fremont St.). At first traffic light turn right on Camino Aguajito. Proceed to Del Monte Ave. Make a left on Del Monte and a right on Figueroa St. and you are there.

From California Highway 1 (PCH) South of Monterey – Take exit 401A (Aguajito St.). At bottom of ramp turn left on Camino Aguajito. Proceed to Del Monte Ave. Make a left on Del Monte and a right on Figueroa St. and you are there.

Tickets:

General admission and open grand stand seating ticket prices are listed below. We are only offering one ticket type. It provides you with access to the venue and a bleacher seat on a space available basis. The bleachers are open seating so if you arrive later in the day chances are you’ll have to stand. A ticket DOES NOT guarantee a seat. Ticket prices are $5 higher at the gate.

Kids 12 and under are free.

Parking:

Parking is available in Waterfront Lots in front of Fisherman’s Wharf, as well as in the Downtown East Garage and the Downtown West Garage across the street, and the Sports Center Lot.
